Fibertherm Universal in fiber wood it is a high density thermal and acoustic insulation for roofs, attics and dry floors. Ideal for insulation in wooden buildings, but also in renovations and new traditional buildings.

The fiber wood panel FiberTherm Universal 270 is a thermo-acoustic insulation fixed under the surface finishing layer for roofs and walls. It possesses the ability to increase the insulating power of wooden elements.

The fiber wood panels FiberTherm Universal dry are particularly stable and light, they are produced by wet process. Available with tongue and groove or sharp edge profile. These panels have an high density equal to 270 kg/m³.

The material is also recyclable, it is certified and made exclusively with wood from controlled forests in compliance with the FSC guidelines (Forest Stewardship Declaration).


With fiber wood FiberTherm Universal 270 is possible to obtain a thermo-acoustic insulation of the roof and walls to contribute considerably to the improvement of the quality of life within their own walls of the house. With FiberTherm Universal 270 excellent thermal insulation of the solid wood structural elements is obtained. Thanks to the low thermal conductivity and the high thermal resistance, FiberTherm Universal 270 protects your environment also from summer heat and winter frost. The density, about 270 kg/m³ and the high specific heat capacity, 2100 J/kgK (more than double the mineral wool), prevent heat from entering even during the hottest days. In this way you can enjoy a pleasant sleep, even under the roof.


The fiber wood panel FiberTherm Universal 270 has the following characteristics:

• high resistance to pressure, impact sound in the support area;
• excellent insulation characteristics and high protection from heat in summer;
• reduces structural thermal bridges;
• particularly open to diffusion, suitable for insulated roofs without crawl space;
• rainproof thanks to the special fold for ground slopes ≥18°;
• suitable as an emergency roof even for four weeks;

• air conditioning function thanks to the high absorption capacity;
• completely hydrophobic, no post-treatment of cutting edges;
• recyclable, ecological, environment-friendly;
